Club Address: Tiberius Road, Somerdale, Keynsham, BS31 2FF

Please note: Due to the ongoing developments of the Somerdale site, heavy vehicles will be using the site. Please take care when entering and exiting the site. Some roads may be slippery or have a rough surface.

Car Parking:

The car parks at the Somerdale Site are now pay and display and monitored by number plate recognition cameras. The car park by the bowling club is still available for bowlers to use. Visiting teams and guests using the on site facilities including the bowls club, are entitled to free parking for 6 hours on the day of the match, which should be enough for your visit. To obtain the free parking, you will need to fill out the registration form which will be provided by Frys Bowling Club. Please take care writing your number plate on form. Failure to do this may result in you being fined by the parking management company.

There is a ‘drop off’ period in place for all car parks that allows the driver to drop off passengers. This is a ten-minute period. It is important to note that the period is measured from the time you pass the ANPR camera coming in to the time you pass it going out. This will NOT be the same as parking your vehicle and coming back to it ten minutes later.

Frys Bowling Club apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. The club have no control over the car parks. The changes to the car park have been made to try and keep the car parks free for users of the Somerdale Pavilion and Sports Facilities. If you have any further questions or problems after your visit, please contact the club Secretary.

There have been some problems with our car parking beyond our control which has seen a number of visiting players fined despite giving their registration number on the forms. Frys Bowling Club, Somerdale Pavilion and Smart Parking are aware of the problem.

Should you be issued a fine, (usually two weeks after your visit), please do not respond to the letter. Instead please contact the Club Secretary Stephen Day on 01225 872959 or email frysbowlsclub@gmail.com with your name and registration number and which club you play for. The Secretary will pass on these details to the Pavilion and the fine should be cancelled.

It is your resonsiblity to ensure your details are entered correctly on the form. Incorrect details may result in a fine.

Apologies for any inconvience this causes.
